This is the Pat Tree where treats are hung high and visitors can watch bears climb for food; imitating what bears might do in the wild to eat catkins or buds from trees.

Tasha dug this den in 2018/2019 and hibernated there. In 2020 she expanded the den but Holly took it over and denned there in 2020/2021.

White Pine Cub Tree

The big white pine tree, appropriately named the "Cub Tree" is a favorite place for the young and/or agile bears to climb. The rough bark makes it easy to climb and the strong branches provide a secure place to snooze.
