The mission of the North American Bear Center is to advance the long-term survival of bears worldwide by replacing misconceptions with scientific facts about bears, their role in ecosystems, and their relations with humans. We believe education is the key in achieving our mission.
The North American Bear Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and we rely solely on visitor admissions, retail sales, and the generosity of donors and members who believe in our mission. We do not receive any state or federal funding.
When you donate to the North American Bear Center, you will be supporting our mission by creating new exhibits, providing education to students and visitors and helping provide care for our Ambassador bears. Your donations also help us with general operations such as improvements and maintaining our facility. Remember your donations are tax deductible.
