Being a member is one of the best ways you can show your support for the North American Bear Center. We have a variety of membership plans available that will suit your individual or family needs.

Members receive FREE admission for a full year when you visit the North American Bear Center and Northwood Ecology Hall (see details on membership plans). You’ll also enjoy a 10% discount every time you shop in our Bear Necessities Gift Store, both in person and online. Plus you’ll also receive invitations to special events at the Bear Center, and your membership purchase is tax-deductible!   Gift Memberships are also available.

Membership has great benefits, but the greatest benefit of all is you’ll continue to help our mission to advance the long-term survival of bears worldwide by replacing misconceptions with scientific facts about bears, their role in ecosystems, and their relations with humans.

*A member cardholder must accompany all children.  Memberships are not transferable.
