Programs Descriptions

Behind the Scene Tours – Get up close and personal with our Ambassador bears!  We’ll take you out behind the scenes, rain or shine, to meet one or more of our bears. You’ll learn about their care, environment, and behavior.  A must see attraction – #1 on TripAdvisor!

Cub Room Critter Time – Bring your kids to the Cub Room to meet one of our resident critters.  They will learn about the critter and have an opportunity to touch or hold it.

Live Broadcast – Tune in to our worldwide live broadcast, new topics daily.  Click here to tune in!

Northwoods Nature Spotlight – Join us daily for an in-depth, detailed look at some of the Northwoods most iconic native species. From moose to muskrats, to walleye and woodpeckers you will surely become more familiar with the animals the Northwoods are known for. Each daily program is focused on a certain species of wildlife or a certain group of wildlife. Take advantage of a chance to learn more about these animals by feeling bones, furs, skulls, and much more.

Nature Trails – Free of charge. Open daily to anyone visiting the North American Bear Center.
